He was the only Uber on that side of the mountain. My phone was dying and with every refresh of his location a percent of battery faded. Two other Ubers had already cancelled on me after seeing the distance to pick me up was further than my destination. This was my only chance down, otherwise I would have to call my boss.

He wore a Santa clause hat and told me he only drives Uber's to get to know people. He learned to negotiate from Never Split the Difference Chris Voss and the Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle. He was a real estate mogul and investor.

He saved me from having to call my boss to pick me up from a Ski Resort during a work trip. He's the closest thing to Santa I've seen in my adult life.
